Hopper laid an egg!

Doesn't sound all that exciting, chickens tend to lay eggs, we usually get one a day each from the other 5, but hopper was bitten on the leg and stomach when she was a chick, and she never fully recovered - her leg is at a strange angle so she hops around, she's smaller than her sisters and her comb stopped growing when she was bitten so she still looks like a young chook, not the adult she is at 2 1/4 years old. So here's her egg, it's tiny! But we are all so proud of her, including herself, she strutted (as much as you can strut with a crooked leg) and sang her egg-laying song for about 20 minutes! There's no way this egg is going to be cracked open, I'll probably hollow it out and keep it as a treasure, she's had such a rough start to life and so many times i thought she wouldn't make it...
